To help your transition to the new system, the online teaching timetable (released on 31 October) has been adjusted to show both the location reference and a description field showing the building name. For example AMEN2.021 will now read as 490.2.021. The new naming convention consists of a 3 digit building number, a 1 digit floor number, then a 3 or 4 digit room number. For example, some buildings in zone 3 are Chancellery # 330, Environmental Sciences # 335, Nexus # 351, Library North # 350 down to IIID # 390.Ībbreviated building names (e.g. Buildings in the same campus zone have the same first number. This change will help improve the student experience as the references used in our building signage, timetable location, campus maps and the soon to be launched Wayfinding App will all be aligned.īuilding numbers have been allocated according to its location on campus.
